Nostos Alexandra's red organic 2018

The Nostos Alexandra's Red Organic 2018 is an organic, dry red wine produced by the Winery Manousakis. It is a blend of equal parts Syrah and Grenache, with 20% Mourvèdre, where the Syrah is fermented in oak casks. This full-bodied wine showcases a bright red color and medium density nose, which evolves to reveal aromas of fresh berries, cherries, and strawberry jam, eventually leading to aging notes dominated by tobacco, black pepper, and ham. The wine has a clear, dense ruby color with rich legs, and it offers fruity aromas that are both dense and fresh, including strawberry, black cherry, mulberry, and notes of tobacco and spices. It has a full and dry mouthfeel with smooth tannins and a fresh fruit presence. The wine concludes with a long and clean finish that accentuates the spices.
