Samartzis Two rivers merlot/mouhtaro 2020

Samartzis Two Rivers Merlot/Mouhtaro 2020, a red dry wine from PGI Central Greece, blends Merlot and Mouhtaro grapes. The Merlot vineyard, at 280m altitude on Helicon mountain, has clay soil and yields 9000 kg/ha, while the Mouhtaro vineyard, at 380-420m, has clay-gravel soil and yields 8000 kg/ha. The wine features a deep ruby color, aromas of red fruits and cherry blossom, medium acidity, and sweet cinnamon spice flavors. It has a medium body and a good aftertaste.
